The Toyota Corolla Cross only has one engine. Its four-cylinder 2.0-litre engine only outputs 169 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque. This engine cannot compete with the CX-30 in terms of choice and overall performance.
Finally, the Toyota Corolla Cross is equipped with a notoriously bland continuously variable transmission, which is disadvantaged in terms of responsiveness when compared to the CX-30’s six-speed unit.
