2021 Mazda3 : A different kind of compact vehicle

The Mazda3 first arrived on the market in 2004 and was immediately a smash hit. The Mazda3 took the standard compact sedan and turned it on its head, infusing performance, driving pleasure and sportiness into a remarkable design and without sacrificing fuel economy. As a matter of fact, the Mazda3 was one of the most efficient sedans in its class despite being so fun to drive.

Today, the new 2021 Mazda3 continues to be one of the most enjoyable compact sedans on the market while continuing to set the benchmark for performance. Indeed, the new Mazda3 is one of the few models in its class to offer all-wheel drive, and it also has numerous engine options including one of the most powerful turbocharged engines you can find.

That said, the Mazda3 offers more technologies as well, many of which are exclusive to Mazda. Examples include G-Vectoring Control Plus (GVC Plus), which stabilizes the behaviour of the car for more precise handling and braking. In addition, for the first time in a Mazda3, an optional all-wheel-drive system is available.

And then there’s the impressive i-ACTIV AWD system which uses numerous sensors to predict the evolution of road conditions so that the system reacts immediately. The AWD system works in all driving situations, whether it be dry pavement, rain, or deep snow. If you want a compact sedan or hatchback that can handle any condition winter throws at it, the 2021 Mazda3 has you covered.

The Mazda3 and Mazda3 Sport with front-wheel drive can be powered by a frugal 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine developing 155 horsepower or by a powerful 2.5-litre 4-cylinder developing 186 horsepower. You can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. By opting for the i-ACTIV AWD system, the 6-speed automatic transmission and the 2.5-litre engine are standard.

New for 2021 is a brand-new turbocharged powertrain that brings 227 horsepower and a very impressive 310 pound-feet of torque. The 2021 Mazda3 with the turbo engine is one of the quickest cars you will find in its price range.

Inside, the new Mazda3 will surround you with quality materials, intuitive infotainment systems, and advanced safety features. Mazda Connect’s infotainment system includes a large, well-designed 8.8-inch display. The user interface has been revised and the updated system now requires fewer entries for optimized user experience. Mazda i-ACTIVSENSE advanced driver assistance technologies are standard.

The new Mazda3 is a choice entry into the compact car segment and one of the only models to offer all-wheel drive. Learn more today!
