2019 Mazda3

The 2019 Mazda3 was unveiled in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show and it quickly became one of the stars. With its impressive list of features and state-of-the-art engines, the Mazda3 will certainly be one of the most discussed models in 2019.

Here are a few features that will make the 2019 Mazda3 a standout among its competitors.

It Offers All-Wheel Drive

The Mazda3 2019 will be the first Mazda3 model to offer all-wheel drive. It will also be one of the few compact vehicles to offer all-wheel drive on the Canadian market. We do not yet know which models will be equipped with all-wheel drive, but we know that it will be Mazda's impressive i-ACTIV system that offers incredible fuel economy, coupled with excellent grip and stability on snow-covered roads.

Available with a Revolutionary New Engine

The Mazda3 includes Mazda's new SKYACTIV-X engine, which means it will be the only model to offer this unique, state-of-the-art engine. Through a process called Spark Controlled Compression Ignition (SCCI), the SKYACTIV-X engine offers more torque and better fuel economy.

The SCCI process actually uses the best of spark ignition and compression ignition for optimum performance.

Early figures suggest that it will develop 180 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque, although nothing has been confirmed yet. We cannot wait to see the final product in action!

"The all-new Mazda3 we are unveiling marks the beginning of a new era for Mazda," said Akira Marumoto, Mazda's Managing Director, President and Chief Executive Officer. "The next generation of Mazda cars will enhance the value of the car ownership experience, and despite these products, we will further increase the value of the Mazda brand and work to build strong relationships with customers around the world."
